First of all Wendy not all Black Women are scared of plastic surgery. Most of us are do not need it,. I am a 43 Yr old black woman with two children in their 20"s and I have been mistaken for looking like I am in my 20"s. I was also taught to embrace my curves and I have also told my daughter the same thing.

I think she has a fun attitude about it. I haven't had work done either. It is an intimidating prospect. I also like how she isn't down on people that do get it. If you feel like you need it, why not?

I don't see what race has to do with anything. All women can get surgery regardless of whether they are black, white, or any other race. If they are really jealous, they can just go to a doctor and have the operation performed.
